The
AdaptAlert™ Radio Frequency (RF) Activation System provides emergency managers a web-based link to activate tone-encoded devices. This fast and user friendly web-based system can be accessed from the Internet, local area network, or directly when a network connection is unavailable. The system can also be activated with a Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) message. This adds redundancy and remote capability for sending alerts and warning messages to outdoor sirens, pagers, radios and other warning devices. The system can activate devices that utilize DTMF, two-tone or single-tone protocols. WSI’s AdaptAlert™ RF Activation Systems are compliant with the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) standard and have been tested by FEMA. This FEMA testing was managed by National Incident Management System - Supporting Technologies Evaluation Program (NIMS STEP), and resulted in the WSI products being listed in their Responder Knowledge Base.
